The guesthouse has a nice location and beautiful views. I enjoyed my first stay here before my hiking trip. However, during my return stay, my reserved room was given to another guest who had extended their stay without an online booking. I was offered the host’s family room instead. The price was adjusted after discussion. Later, an accident happened in the kitchen: the glass stove broke while I was cooking, even though I had used the same stove before without issue. The host initially asked me to pay 2000 som for repairs. The hostess spoke to me in a rude and unfriendly manner, while I tried to politely negotiate. Eventually, we agreed on 1000 som, but I believe part of the responsibility was due to the lack of warning, as the host’s daughter was present during my cooking. Overall, the location is scenic, but my second stay was unpleasant. I recommend future guests confirm their booking in advance and be careful when using kitchen appliances.
